Principal
Chris has 18 years in the building systems & technology industry. He was born overseas, but grew up in the Richmond, VA area and started his professional career as an application engineer in the HVAC industry in DC after graduating from Virginia Tech with a mechanical engineering degree. He has held roles with progressively increasing responsibility, leading both sales and operations team, for HVAC and Life Safety businesses, across multiple markets across the east coast. His last role prior to helping create C&J Building Solutions was with Johnson Controls leading the local HVAC and Life safety sales teams in central Virginia supporting the owners, contractors, and consulting engineers.
Joe Martinez
Principal
Joe has 17 years in the building systems & technology industry. He was born and raised in Central, Pa and started his professional career as Controls Designer in the HVAC industry in Richmond, VA after graduating from Penn College of Technology with degrees in Building Automation, Electrical Technology & Electro-Mechanical Maintenance. He has held roles with progressively increasing responsibility, leading both operation and engineering teams, for HVAC and Life Safety businesses, across central VA. He has a strong track record of developing technicians and delivering high quality projects for his customers. His last role prior to helping create C&J Building Solutions was with Johnson Controls leading the local HVAC and Life safety operations team in Central VA.
